Description
I failed to accurately depict a facebook friend. But in my defense, I used a cheap 2B artist loft pencil and mixed media paper. The best graphite pencils are General or Faber-Castel, and the best paper to use for smooth skin tones is a smooth bristol...but I refuse to waste that kind of paper until I'm better at it.

This is only a fail because you're being so negative to yourself! Talent doesn't just pop out of thin air.
You have to refine your skill, much like a sword, you must sharpen it and spend hours practicing in order to be of any value.
Please don't say that it was a waste of paper.
You're a growing artist and it is a wonderful piece of art!
Keep drawing and keep your chin up. Be proud that you've actually drawn something!
